Bill Wise
Bill Wise is a retired middle school teacher who now writes full-time. In addition to teaching math and English, he coached baseball and basketball (his favorite sport) for many years. This book was inspired by Bill's passion for sports, nature, and mathematics. As a former teacher he likes to create activities that connect math with nature and sports. Bill has written five children's books. His picture book biography Louis Sockalexis: Native American Baseball Pioneer earned the International Reading Association's primary nonfiction book award. He lives in Maine.
