Neely Daggett
Neely Daggett is an Iranian-American artist who lives just outside Portland, OR with her husband, three young children, one quirky cat, and thirty houseplants. She has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Colorado. Creating picture books is her passion, but she also loves to cook, travel, run long distances, and visit the Oregon coast with her family. She has illustrated several children's books, including The White House Cat by Cylin Busby and The Supreme Court and Us by Christy Mihaly. Neely's fantastic elastic brain likes a cup of tea and a book before bed and is busy dreaming up characters for all her stories, both day and night!
